Promotion Prog For Uppada Silk Sarees Released

Silk Mark Organisation of India (SMOI), endorsed from the Central Silk Board along with the Union Ministry of Textiles, methodized the process.

The brand promo event is aimed towards providing a fillip the Uppada silk sarees cluster program. The Uppada silk cluster is well known for indian sarees with light-weight plus Jamdaani work. Motifs can also be woven with a single zari carefully thread. Expense of the saree varies via `2,000 to `10 lakh. The Uppada Group is among the main handicraft works in the country, creating a unique type of Jamdaani style by artisans on handlooms only.

There is certainly have to enhance the styles, colour mixtures as well as utilization of high quality silk with correct designing and dyeing methods, said a launch released through the programme organisers.

The Union ministry of textiles authorised a scheme for your brand promotion associated with Indian silk which is applied throughout the 12th Plan time period through the SMOI as well as the Indian Silk Promotion Council.
